Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information Milo handles, why it is used, and the controls available to you.

Information Milo collects
Milo collects account information such as your email and name; profile and onboarding choices such as goals, training experience, weekly schedule, and training preferences; daily check-ins, including soreness or injury status you choose to report; and plans, workouts, runs, activity details, and notes you record. If you connect Garmin, Milo stores connection details and supported activity, sleep, heart-rate, HRV, Body Battery, and related fitness or health metrics. If a gym membership is enabled for your account, Milo may also store gym identity, membership status, and access-pass information.
How Milo uses information
Milo uses this information to create and manage your account, authenticate you, operate and secure the service, provide support, show your training record, calculate readiness, size and recommend training, generate coach insights, and provide connected Garmin or gym features. Milo does not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
AI-assisted coaching
To generate a coach insight, Milo sends Anthropic a limited prompt built from your goal, experience level, training frequency, recent workout summaries, and check-ins. The coach-insight prompt does not include your email or password. Anthropic processes that training context as Milo's AI provider. Milo's deterministic plans, session sizing, and readiness calculations do not depend on an AI model.
Service providers and storage
Milo's service is hosted on Vercel and app data is stored in Neon Postgres. Anthropic processes coach-insight prompts, and Garmin provides connected fitness data when you choose to connect it. These providers may process data where they operate. Milo may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or others.
Tracking and diagnostics
As of August 31, 2026, the Milo iOS app has no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics SDKs, and does not request your location or contacts. Milo does not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Milo's server services may retain operational request, error, and security logs needed to run and protect the service.
Retention and account deletion
When an in-app account deletion succeeds, Milo deletes the account and user-linked profile, training, check-in, and Garmin-connection records from its main database. Some event records may remain after your user ID is removed. Stored Garmin session credentials are removed during the next scheduled cleanup, normally within 15 minutes. Milo does not revoke the upstream Garmin authorization when your account is deleted; you can revoke it separately in your Garmin account. Service-provider backups and operational logs may remain for limited periods when needed for security, recovery, or legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Connecting Garmin is optional. You can delete your Milo account in the app. You may also contact Milo to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.
